Bank sync is a cancer of this application. It brings more issues than benefits.

The best way is to add everything manually.

I would love to use shopping lists, but in the current state, together with goals, is the less useful feature for me.
    1. As mentioned by Ahmad information about products should be saved in record's comment.
    2. When we create a new record from shopping list it is not possible to provide location, payee, payment type... from the other hand it can be set in templates. So for me using templates instead of shopping lists has much more sense. I wish I could click "create a record" from shopping list and select a template there.
    3. I have 2 labels which are automatically added to all new records. However, when I create a new record from shopping lists those labels are not being added.

As I said. Shopping lists bring more challenges than benefits.

On Android it can be added as planned payments. I am not sure if planned payments are available on iOS. Literally that functionality is not available on the webpage.

So for now the only way is to use Wallet for Android.

If this is a private credit card shouldn't it be... private. ;)
Your husband may export this account's records to XLS. Then you will be able to create new account in your Wallet, import previously exported data and share this account.

I would create a separate "bank" account in Wallet for your mobile provider account and add expenses in a standard way from that account.

It will bring another challage - if saldo on your mobile account is reduced every time you make a call you will have to create a new expense record in Wallet after each outgoing call.
Alternatively you may wait for notification from your mobile provider that your accout is empty. In this situation you may create just one record equal to what left in that general account in Wallet.

It works as designed and implemented.
    https://support.budgetbakers.com/hc/en-us/articles/7149523920786-How-to-setup-Planned-Payments

If you have recurring planned payments for 29-31 day of month reschedule it to 28th and turn off automatic creation of record. That way you will be able to confirm it manually even after set date.

You may also reschedule your planned payments in your bank and move them all to (prior) 28th.

Thank you for your blabla... :)

    1. I do not have any problems with adding and using labels or filters. The only SMALL issue I noticed is when I add a widget in home screen in app and set it to use filter, after app's reboot filter is OFF. I have to set it again, restart app and check if change is done. Sometimes I have to set it 3 or 4 times, but when it finally understood what I want, it works.

    2. What do you mean by "generating of records is buggy"? What issues you have?

    3. What do you mean by "planned payments are gone"? I notices some issues with planned payments when I started to use shared group. I have a second account in Wallet and I try to figure out why my planned payments were corrupted when data from shared group was synced.

    4. I agree - Web interface sucks. I use it only for import.

    5. When I filter in Wallet for Android by label the results are fine.

    6. You can't add record to debt if it is already added to debt. So if record is already in a debt it will not be on the list of record available for adding.

Perhaps it can be recognised somehow for bank accounts synced with banks (but I do not know if it is correct).
If I would be a developer of this application I would compare not only amount of transactions, but also accounts' number. Compating dates can not work. Sometimes there is a delay between transfers between 2 banks.

If I were you I would remove unnecessary records from spreadsheet before import. (If you import data often you may create a VB macro to do it with 1-click)

First of all I do not understand.

"If you want to see your yearly budgets per month and vice versa monthly budgets per year you have to make always 2 entries."

Yearly budget can be seen per year, monthly - per month.

"view to see the aggregated budgets (different periodic together) in a user selectable period frame (weekly/monthly/yearly)

Like this the user only have to enter one periodic budget and the user doesn't have to manual calculate e.g. *12 or /12."

But it is not correct. Yearly budget IS NOT equal to 12×monthly budget.
Example: I must buy car insurance once a year and pay ~2500PLN. In my case it is always July. So for current month (February) my budget for car insurance is 0 (in Wallet I set 0,01PLN), but for current year the budget is 2500PLN.

1 for Windows, 1 for Linux, 1 for MacOS... there is a web version that can be used on every desktop OS.

    Alternatively,
I often use Wallet for Android on 34' screen in desktop environment. I connect my Samsung 's phone to monitor and use Samsung Dex.

    @Petr Stránský
When you add positive values to expenses you may (I am not sure if that is rught) get correct data in statistics related to expenses. But in the same time you corrupt data related to incomes.

That is why I have 2 categories (one for incomes, one for expenses) for reimbursements.

Hi. It is not a basic feature. There is something that can be called architectural legacy or debt. Many years ago, on the stage of concept it was decided to use one base currency. I am sure it is codded so deeply in core of application that any change related to base currency requires to completly redesign application. There is a great challenge how to implement new features without negative impact on existing features and users.

I have nothing against using one base currency. I ern money in multiple currencies, but I pay taxes only in Poland, so my base currency is PLN.

There are no folders in Wallet. Use labels and filters.

I see probably better solution. We can create labels and set them to be automatically added to new records. However, this setting works globally. I mean, if this option is marked then that label is added automatically on all devices and from all accounts in shared group. I don't know if it is possible to implement, but it would be nice to assign label to device/account.

    Example / scenario:
There is a shared group with 4 members (family 2+2). There are 4 labels: mom, dad, son, daughter. Every member of family has his/her own device. When son is adding a record to shared group in Wallet, label "son" will be automatically added to that record.

That way main transaction screen could be untouched and family members would don't have to remember about adding label.

For those, who use sync with bank, this functionality can be useless and problematic. Which location should be added in records created after sync with the bank? Also, the sync is performed with delay, so if application will check and write location based on the location where the phone is in the time of synchronisation, than there is a risk that most of records will have location set to users' home or workplace.

However, for those who do not use synchronisation with bank(s) and add record just after the real transaction (in shop, café, etc) it could be useful.

My understanding of your post is, that you have 2 yearly budgets: transport and vacations. Normally all transactions related to flights goes to budget "transport", but some of them you actually would prefer to move to budget "vacations".

If I am correct I see 2 options.
    1. Create sub-sub-category "transport on vacation", add it to budget "vacations" and use this one for required transactions.
    2. Create label "holiday2023". Create 1-time budget "holiday2023" with start date 1.1.2023 and end date 31.12.2023. Set it to use all categories and to count only those transactions with label "holidays2023".

I prefer second option and this is how I set my budgets for holidays.
