Income Category
I cannot understand why the Income Category (and its subcategories) can also be given an Expenditure value.
I think there should be categories for income only, and categories for expenses only. Possibly a category that could be said to be "neutral," such as RECONCILIATION/REFUNDS. To me, it is implausible to see STIPLE as an expense item (at least that you are not an entrepreneur)...or a SALE with a negative value! (for me they should be categories with only positive values)

When you add positive values to expenses you may (I am not sure if that is rught) get correct data in statistics related to expenses. But in the same time you corrupt data related to incomes. That is why I have 2 categories (one for incomes, one for expenses) for reimbursements.

@Petr Stránský For what you say, there is a proposal to implement that a income goes to decrease the expenditure previously made.
I recommend that you vote on implementing the feature

@Petr Stránský are you able to do what you described with synced accounts?

I strongly disagree! I very often add positive values to expenses that represent refunds. That way, if I spend 1000 on a clothing purchase and then make a return for 500, I will see on my monthly report that I only spent 500 in the clothing category.
This is much more correct than seeing that I spent 1000 (which is untrue) and then have income of 500 in a completely different category.
