payment for one record in multiple accounts
Suppose I am doing a purchase in amazon and the price of the product is 15$. I have a gift card balance of 5$ in one account, and other checking accounts. While checking out , after applying gift card the payable amount will be 10$. I should be able to select two accounts for one record.
eg.
☑️ Multiple account record? if yes one should be able to select multiple accounts for the record. if no only one account shall be included for record.
yes=> and selects 3 account
1st account | amount = 5$
2nd account | amount = 5$
3rd account | amount = 5$
Total amount of record = 15$

Yes! many retailers allow you to split a purchase between multiple payment methods.
I also think some of the other issues listed could be solved with a similar approach, like linking records together with different types of "links".
If you've ever used Jira, you'll be familiar with the concept.For example
- for refunds or reimbursements this record is "reimbursed by" another record
- for payments from different accounts, this record is "merged with" another record to create the complete transaction
- for a scenario where you make a payment to someone by transferring to a shared account, the record is "paid by transfer"
etc.
