A standard spreadsheet template for importing records that works with all Wallet features
I have been using the import feature on the web to migrate my data, but despite the format being exactly the same, there are always issues when importing the file every single time.
I've also noticed how people are having issues with categories, etc. -- A standard template that can be downloaded from the web app should solve all these issues.

I use Excel spreadsheets as well. I make them for all my accounts separately and upload them at the end of the month so its never more than 50 - 100 transactions per account.
However, the main problem I am facing is that the same format that is accepted once and imported into Wallet is not being imported again. It simply doesn't process it, and the page goes blank after uploading. Or if it does upload, it shows problems with the date or income/expense column which is frustrating.
For example, it will accept the sheet for January but not for February, etc. I don't know why that is, so I am hoping the devs will add a link to download a template that will work for the software without problems.
Thanks for the category idea though! =)

When I was importing data to Wallet I used excel spreadsheets. I had ~15000 records to import. In spreadsheet I had column C with category (it didn't work during import), column D with description. I added column E with rule =D2+" category: "+C2.
That way I had info about category in description. Then I created automatic rules for each category in Wallet (if there is a text 'category: x' in description assign category x to newly imported record.A lot of manual work, but MUCH less then changing category in each record one by one.
