Adding ability to change type of record to "transfer" with automatic rule
I have an unlinked account of deposit and adjust my usual linked account to automatically send money in it every time I spend from my usual account
It would be better if I could adjust that records from "expense" type to "transfer-to-deposit-account" type using automatic rule because it's very easy to lost that records while bank clear it

See my idea to improve Paypal integration. This is forcing me to manually edit 2 records per purchase and it is tedious.

Yes please.. it would make it easy to mark my paypal transfers and internal bank transfers, now it feels like an unneeded inconvenience to always do it manually

I think this is a redundant request with https://wallet.uservoice.com/forums/195072-general/suggestions/45648958-automatic-transfer-between-accounts
The two of them could be merged and get the total number of votes, because this is critical to many :)EDIT:
Forget about my above comment, the feature request is different. This one is very important to be able to automate imports including data that contains transfers.
Thanks for looking into this! -

The same here - I have several accounts within Wallet and transfering funds between accounts. So, I'd like to build an automatic rule which would mark transaction as transfer type one.
Adding of payment type within Assign actions area would solve the problem -

I have a similar issue. When I receive transfers from other people on my synced bank account the transactions often get identified as transfers and I have to manually change them every time to income. I'd like an option in the automatic rule to change the type of the record to income/expense/transfer.

Have the same issue. I transfer money to a savings account and Wallet includes this as an expense which shows I overspend waaay too much.
If I could setup those transactions to automatically be marked as transfers instead it would be awesome!

I have similar problem. I am regularly sending money to revolut from my classic bank account and there is no possibility to set automatic rule which transforms income on Revolut and outcome on another bank account to bank transfer/s. I have to do it manually everty time.
