Smarter Planned Payments
There are so much things missing in Planned Payments starting with the cloning feature, As we can already clone a transaction it would be helpful if we can directly mark a transaction as recurring and it will take us to the planned payments page with the data's of last filled transactions so that we can simply add the recurring period and save it. It can also be applicable for marking as recurring directly from any saved template (option to saving a transaction will be useful too).
And the setting of recusancy is still dumb.. If I'm selecting any date it should recognise every possible option like last weekday of 2nd Week, last Weekday of Month, On last day of every month, Every 3rd Saturday, I guess you know what I mean (TickTick app does this for the reference)

I think it would definitely be an obvious next step to pull forward the day number of the transaction itself when creating a new planned payment.

I do not understand why this proposal is not more supported?
I would like to be able to simply click on a recurring payment, and tag it as 'recurring'. It would then count in my budget. -

This is the most disappointing part of planned payments. Why can't I just click on an existing record, like my mortgage payment, and set it as a planned payment? It has all the information already in there. Without this, I need to know exactly how much each payment is going to be before creating it, which is obviously possible but significantly more cumbersome.

Also, if you set a planned payment to be monthly on 30th or 31st, it will skip February - which is very unlikely to be the desired behaviour. It should default to the last day of the month.

Actualy on https://budgetbakers.com/planned-payments/ you can read: "With Wallet you can easily convert existing payments into planned future payments."
Not that I've found a way to do that :-( -

YES!
Being able to mark a transaction as recurring to automatically populate the 'planned payments' section. When categorising a transaction, giving it a label or changing its category, it would be awesome to also set it as recurring from the same menu. Instead of having to remember the amount, payer, and date of payment, then move to the planned payment screen and manually put all the details in.
